Crime Branch Jammu produced preliminary charge-sheet against accused- Raj Kumar S/O KaranSharma R/O Kullian Kamala Tehsil Ramgarh Distt. Samba, Kailash and Vikas both sons of Ajit Kumar,residents of Harsha Dabbar,Bishnah, District Jammu for luring the complainant on the pretext of providing work-visas for abroad and duping him of hard earned money to the tune of Rs.12.00 Lakhs.

A written complaint was lodged by the complainant namely Sat Pal Sharma S/O Sh. Makhanlal R/O W.No. 13 R.S Pura Jammu alleging therein that his son Rohit Sharma had a desire to work in some foreign country for better future and the accused Raj kumar was running the business of sending unemployed youth abroad on work permit where he used to lure innocent people by showing them lucrative schemes of getting employment in foreign countries through him and thereby earn Rs. 2 to 3 lakhs per month for a consideration of 3 to10 lakhs Rupees. The complainant also fell into his trapand the said accused assured that he will procure work visa for his son in lieuof some monetary consideration and he, on 13-09-2017 gave to the complainant anemployment offer letter under KTC Group and one more letter and Visa on08-01-2018. The complainant on this arranged money from different sources andpaid to the suspect a total amount of Rs12.00 Lakhs for himself and of his relativenamely Vinod Kumar, some through cheques and some through cash but later onverification on his own the said visa as provided by the suspect was found tobe fake etc.

Taking cognizance into the matter, CrimeBranch Jammu registered a Criminal case FIRNo.46/2019 U/S 420,465,467,468,471,120-B/RPC.During the investigation documentary/oral evidences were collected and charges ofcheating the complainant with sheer malafide/criminal intention after hatchinga well planned Criminal Conspiracy and knowingly and dishonestly causingwrongful gain to themselves  and wrongfulloss to the complainant and providing fake and forged Visa and appointmentorders with criminal conspiracy have been established. 

The preliminary charge-sheet was produced inthe Hon’ble Court of City Judge, Jammu on 26-02-2020. Further investigation inthe case is underway.
